Welcome, ZICO Water.
This is just a post to introduce you all to Blanchard’s newest product, ZICO coconut water. It arrived yesterday and takes up three bottom slots in the fridge with the Gold Peak iced tea.
Haven’t tried it yet, but anything to put that wretched BodyArmor out of business. Plus Gisele, New England’s resident supermodel, likes it, so why not?

Subway at Blanchard: We can dream.
A friend, and apparent sub sandwich aficionado, shared her new Blanchard creation recently. It’s a play on Subway’s Chicken Bacon Ranch sub.
Haven’t tried it yet, but you could theoretically order a chicken finger sub from the grill, check the “add bacon” box, and add some ranch dressing from the refrigerator below the pizza station.
Let me know how it goes.

ghostpulse asked: Hi there! I see you go to Mount Holyoke? I just got accepted there and I'm trying to decide if its the right school for me. Though I don't intend to major in visual arts, it is something that's very important to me. I was wondering if you know anything about the art department at MHC or if you know anyone I can talk to. Sure, I could hear it from someone who works for the college,...

More #BlanchardProblems
Today’s #blanchardproblem du jour was actually just getting in.
I know, pretty basic.
First of all, ever since Spring Break, the right side door on the front entrance is extremely hard to open. It’s hard to hold it open, especially with a backpack. Then if someone’s behind you that has never been to Blanchard before, they are all confused why you are wriggling through a small...

Bring Your Spray Fan to Blanchard Day
Today is supposed to get up to 90 degrees outside and Blanchard has some strange aversion to AC. I don’t know either.
Or maybe they could build this on the back patio?
Bring your spray fans, your super soakers, and your ice packs.

The Ethical Dilemma of Ice Cream Toppings
I believe in the Honor Code…and it has come to my attention that people are getting a little too creative with their checkout procedure.
It’s one thing to steal things, like bottled drinks. FYI the folks at Blanch know what you steal and when you steal it because they do inventory everyday. That’s why pesto lives behind the Deli Case because so many people stuck it in their...

Goodbye Torrey Grab 'n Go
If you don’t read your email or open you email and don’t like scrolling, you may have missed a pivotal annoucement that came out early this week.
Next year, dining services will discontinue the operation of Torrey Grab ‘n Go, a lunch stop for many students with class during lunch, dancers, and students heading off campus for class.
Is is super important on campus? Maybe not....

Gotcha.
This is how you know you’ve been eating at Blanchard too long.
The chefs at the grill try to guess what I’m going to order. And they are apparently so confident (Ok, I get the same veggie-Mt.-Holyoke-on-a-bagel-with-an-extra-egg pretty often), they proceed to make it before I even fill out a slip.
Then they look at the slip, and I ordered a meltdown.
Gotcha.

Blanchard Party Attire/Do not show up to Blanchard...
I will be brief.
Last time I talked about fashion choices, some angry reader told me that she should be allowed to wear her Harry Potter robe/cloak/whatever in Blanchard. It’s a free country, so I’m just giving pointers. Also alerting you what people will and will not judge you for.
These past few weekends I have noticed some scantily-clad women roaming around Blanchard...

A Guide for "Prospies"
Since so many prospective students seem to follow this blog and send me cute messages (or my personal favorites, the ones who have a countdown on their blogs in the “About Me” column), I thought I would lay down a few pointers useful for your visit to campus this Spring. Tours are already huge and sprawling all day everyday.
1. Trashcan location: This surprisingly the most common...

I'm Baaaaack. And so are quesadillas.
Readers,
I am sorry for my absence (I figured it would be better for me to take a break than just spin crap that no one cared about). But - I am back with more research, information, and insider observations!
Here is a sampler:
1. Most importantly, quesadillas are back!!!! As of yesterday at lunch, the panini presses are fixed thanks to FacMan. One student pointed out that this might be because...
